The panels

Celas has a lot of panels. Here's the quick map of what each one is for — open any of them from the Window menu, then dock or float them however suits your screen.

You never need all of them at once. Most people keep Layers, Timeline, Properties and Color out, and pull the rest up when a task calls for them.

  • Layers — your layer stack: order, visibility, lock, blend, and the right-click menu.
  • Timeline — keyframes, cells, auto-key, onion skin and playback.
  • Properties — every value for whatever's selected: transform, fill, stroke, bones, mesh.
  • Tools & Tool Options — the tool rail plus the settings for the active tool.
  • Color, Color Harmony, Swatches & Palette — picking and storing colour.
  • Brushes & Brush Studio — pick a brush preset, or build one from scratch.
  • Graph Editor & Easing — shaping the feel of your motion.
  • History — every step you've taken; click a row to jump back to it.
  • Actions — smart actions, driven by a bone's angle.
  • Variants — mutually-exclusive layer switches.
  • Physics — force fields like Wind.
  • Cells — the frame-by-frame drawing library.
  • Library — reusable symbols and imported media.
  • Layer Effects — non-destructive effects on a layer.
Save an arrangement as a workspace (Window ▸ Workspace) and jump between General, Animation and Minimal — or your own layouts.
