Exporting

Render your animation out to video, a GIF, a sprite sheet or an image sequence — whatever the shot is headed for.

How it works

Everything lives under File ▸ Export. Pick a format, set the resolution and the frame range — the whole timeline, or just a slice — and Celas renders exactly what's in the viewport, motion blur and all.

The formats

  • Video (MP4) — H.264 or HEVC with your audio muxed in; the everyday deliverable. (MP4 encoding is Windows-only for now.)
  • Video with alpha — MOV, animated WebP or WebM (VP9), all of which keep transparency for compositing.
  • Animated GIF — quick and universal, no transparency (frames sit on white).
  • PNG sequence — one transparent PNG per frame, for handing off to another tool.
  • Sprite sheet — every frame packed into a single grid image for game engines.
The video dialog gives you codec, alpha (straight or premultiplied), bitrate, an optional burnt-in timecode and a live preview, so you can dial the output in before you commit.
  1. Open File ▸ Export and choose a format — a video file or an image sequence.
  2. Set the resolution and the frame range — the whole timeline, or just a selected range.
  3. Optionally save the settings as a preset for next time.
  4. Render, and Celas Studio writes the file to the location you choose.

Presets

Save your go-to export settings as presets, so delivering to the same spec again is a single click.

Save a preset per delivery target — one for social, one for review, one for final — and future exports become a single click.
