Mesh deform
Warp artwork with a control grid, no redrawing required.
Adding a mesh
Drop a mesh over any layer and Celas Studio binds the artwork to a grid of control points. Move the points, and the art follows.
- Select the layer you want to warp, right-click it and choose Convert to Mesh (or Add Mesh Parent).
- Set the grid resolution — start coarse and add rows or columns only where you need finer control.
- Drag the control points to warp the art, and turn on Auto-Key to record the grid as you pose it.

Animating the grid
Keyframe the grid points for turns, overlap and organic squash-and-stretch. Easing on the timeline carries the motion between poses.
Tips
- Reach for a coarse grid for believable, broad bends
- Add resolution only where the silhouette needs it
- Mix mesh with cell swaps for key drawings it can't reach
