Graph editor & easing

When you want motion to feel a certain way — snappy, floaty, a little overshoot — the Easing panel and the Graph Editor are where you shape it.

The Easing panel

Grab a keyframe and the Easing panel shows its timing as a bezier curve. Pick a preset — ease in, ease out, and everything up to anticipation and overshoot — or drag the two handles by hand. For X/Y properties you can even ease each axis on its own.

The Graph Editor

The Graph Editor plots your animated values as curves over time — position, rotation, scale, opacity and more. Drag keyframes and their bezier handles right on the curve, set tangents to Linear, Smooth or Sharp, and press F to fit the view. It's the precise view for when the timeline's diamonds aren't enough.

Both work on a whole selection of keyframes, so you can re-time a batch of them in one move.
